World Sufi Music Festival – Jahan e Khusrau, New Delhi, India
Jahan-e-Khusrau is an annual three-day sufi music festival held in New Delhi, India to commemorate the death anniversary of the saint Amir Khusrau.
World Sufi Music Festival ‘Jahan-e-Khusrau’, founded by filmmaker -painter Muzaffar Ali held under the aegis of Rumi Foundation is back with its 13th edition in Delhi to be held from 24-26 March 2017 at Arab ki Sarai, Humayun Tomb Monuments and is dedicated to Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar, patron saint of the Punjab and the Pir of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.
The festival is held at Chaunsath Khamba located in Nizamuddin Basti and the lawns of the Humayun’s Tomb — incidentally, this is where Khusrau started the qawwali music tradition in the 13th century AD.
Jahan e Khusrau, World Sufi Music Festival is an endless celebration of music, love and art, with a proud history of 11 years.
